Khloe Kardashian Is Facing Backlash For Her Social Media Posting Following Astroworld Tragedy

Khloe Kardashian is being called out after posting thirst traps following Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, which ended in tragedy and left at least eight people dead and more than 300 injured.

Travis Scott is currently in a relationship with Khloe’s younger sister Kylie Jenner, who attended the event.

Khloe shared three snaps of herself posing in a tight sheer dress. People then took to her comments to point out how disrespectful this was to the victims, whose families are still grieving.

Khloe posted the pictures on Tuesday, just four days after the tragedy occurred.

One person commented, “Read the room. The first Astroworld victim was buried yesterday.”

While someone else said, “People are watching you guys. I think we can pause this for a week or so after people died at TS concert just a thought”

Another comment read, “Is it that hard to take a break from social media 😐”

While one person simply said, “Tone.deaf. not the time”

As the comments continued to flood in, another called for constructive action:

“Girl, rather than post on IG go to the hospital and visit all the people who were injured the other night. Do something productive and proactive.“

Khloe isn’t the only one in her family to be criticised after the tragedy. Kylie was criticised for posting footage on her Instagram that showed an ambulance struggling to reach the victims. She has insisted she was unaware of the issue until after the event.

The whole KarJenner family was criticised for not responding to the tragedy. Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner have since released statements expressing their sadness at hearing the news and praying for the victims. However, Khloe has yet to comment on either the event itself or the photo controversy.
