YouTuber Jaclyn Hill Has Announced The Sudden Death Of Her Ex-Husband Jon

Beauty influencer Jaclyn Hill has announced the shock death of her ex-husband, 33-year-old Jon Hill.

The couple were married for 9 years, before splitting in 2018. For fans of the beauty guru many will be familiar with Jon, as he appeared in many of her YouTube videos during their decade-long marriage.

Announcing the sad news, Jaclyn shared a statement written by Jon’s family, which read:

“It is with profound remorse and sorrow that we must report that our beloved Andrew Jonathan Hill passed away on August 10, 2022.”

“We are all devastated by the sudden tragedy. The Hill family request privacy during this overtly difficult time. VR, Hill Family”

Jon and Jaclyn’s divorce was the result of Jon’s drug addiction. Opening up about his struggles in the past, Jon told Billboard:

“During our third year of marriage, it got to a point where I was having seizures because I was on so much stuff. I started breaking out in hives. So it became noticeable that something was wrong”

When Jon got sober Jaclyn still made the decision to go their separate ways, which came as a big surprise to Jon:

“That was a huge shock to me”

“We were married for nine years. For some reason, I was thinking about how amazing it would be to enjoy Christmas with her while being clean.”

“So coming home to see all my stuff gone and not knowing who she’s with, I was just devastated. Within two months, I was back on drugs,” he said at the time.

Jon’s cause of death is not yet known.

Just recently Jaclyn addressed her ex-husband during a Q&A. She recently got engaged to her new partner, and a fan asked how Jon took the news, to which she said:

“Getting loads and lots of queries about my ex. Because I want to honour him and his family, I don’t feel comfortable providing any information.”
