First Look: Whitney And Lochan’s Relationship Is Challenged By Family Members

It's make or break time for Whitney and Lochan

Whitney and Lochan have proved themselves to be a fan favourite couple in the Love Island (literally, fans voted them the favourite)…BUT there’s just one problem: they aren’t actually a couple.

While the pair have remained strong and loyal since connecting in Casa Amor, they have yet to make it official.

And as they prepare to meet each others’ families tonight, their relationship status is the main subject.

Whitney will be visited by her mum Olatoun and sister Lizzy. And in a preview of tonight’s episode, her family are questioning when the pair will dtr.

Upon reuniting, Whitney’s sister asks her: “Are you and Lochan closed off?” To which Whitney replies: “No.”

With Whitney’s sister replying in shock, exclaiming: “Wait, what?”

As the families come together, Whitney’s sister pulls Lochan for a chat together. Will she be asking Lochan about his intentions?

However, another islander looks set to have a much smoother family visit, as Mitch’s family share their praise for Ella B. But her family might not be fully convinced.

From Lifted Entertainment

The couple are joined by Ella B’s mum Joanne and best friend Caz Mitch’s mum Debbie and dad Martyn.

As Mitch heads to the terrace with his mum and dad. Speaking about Ella B, Mitch’s dad says: “I’ve seen her true self now and she’s lovely.”

Meanwhile, Ella B is talking about her journey with Mitch, with her mum and best friend on the day beds. Ella B says: “Obviously he didn’t deal with it in the best way.”

Ella B’s mum agrees: “No, he didn’t.”

Mitch and Ella B’s families soon come together. Speaking to Ella B, Mitch’s mum says: “When you came in, we weren’t actually sure.”
