Penneys Have Featured An Amputee Model In Their Latest Campaign, And People Are Delighted
She looks fab, naturally.
Just when we thought we couldn’t love Penneys any more, they’ve only gone and brought diversity to the high street by featuring an amputee model in their latest Instagram campaign.
People are absolutely loving the photo – the post has over 110,000 likes and the comments sing nothing but praise:
Well done Primark, thank you for making the first step in using a disabled model and showing other brands not to be afraid. Big congratulation, the highest praise.
It’s so important to show and celebrate all types of bodies. Everyone is different and we should all be represented <3
People are also impressed that it was done without huge fanfare or publicity:
Thank you for some unprovoked/unpublicised diversity! Not just a PR stunt, I can tell. Much more than that. Keep being awesome!
And it’s not just Penneys that are feeling the love for this shot – the model, Kelly Knox, is being shown support too.
