“I Always Try To Avoid Fragrance In Products” Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Struggling With A Skin Condition

There’s few people that are truly blessed with perfect skin, I am definitely not one of them, but I would have put money on Hailey Bieber being one. It turns out I would have lost that bet, because Hailey recently opened up about struggling with a skin condition called Perioral dermatitis, and how she handles it.

“I have Perioral dermatitis,” she told Glamour. “So certain products irritate my skin, giving me a horrible itchy rash around my mouth and eyes.” If you haven’t heard of it, the condition is basically like an inflammatory rash around the mouth and eyes which causes the skin to be irritated and itchy. Not ideal, really.

“I always try to avoid fragrance in products as it’s too much on the skin,” she explains, before adding that, as a model, she can’t always control what goes onto her face, so it can be a bit of a gamble. She continued, “I don’t always know what’s being put on my skin as I work with lots of different makeup artists.”

Hailey then went on to say that her husband, Justin Bieber also has some skin struggles of his own, “Justin has struggled with adult acne. After he works out he uses clarifying pads to wipe the skin after he’s been sweating.”

So, there you have it. Not even the Biebers can get away with flawless skin all the time.
