Harry And Meghan Just Made Their First Appearance Of The Year And They’re Absolutely Beaming
It's good to see the Cali life is treating them well.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just marked their first public appearance of 2021 by surprising a poetry class on a Zoom call marking Black History Month.
The group titled GetLit, an organisation based in Los Angeles, delighted their young poets when Harry and Meghan appeared on the screen. Sticking around for a total of 45 minutes, they discussed the importance of poetry, culture and how the youth of today can make a difference in how we shape the world.
A radiant Harry and Megan could be seen on the screen, captured by the organisation, as the pair looked happy and settled in their new setup, away from the heavy tabloid scrutiny they received pre-Megxit.

Located now in sunny Santa Barbara, Megan and Harry spoke with all the students, with tutor Mason Granger explaining that it was so nice to hear “Meghan echoing so many sentiments we’ve talked about in class, about this particular moment in time/history to be a young person and the ripple effect of a single voice.”
Continuing, Mason added that the pair even did their research before coming on the call, reading the kids bios before joining so they could be more educated and informed when discussing poetry – cute!
“It was pretty surreal. My kids shared poems, they asked questions, the kids answered and asked questions back, they responded authentically,” Mason added.

Now, although appearances from the royal pair are a lot less frequent than in 2019 due to both the pandemic and their new non-royal life, it is believed that the pair will return to the UK this summer.
In June, the Trooping of the Colour to celebrate the Queen’s birthday will take place, an event which usually gathers the whole family and one that Harry and Meghan are thought to be attending. Although there is no official duty for them to be there, the event is seen as a family gathering more so than anything and so, if it seems they can safely travel, we’d believe both Harry and Meghan will be in attendance.
