These BTS Snaps Show The Bridgerton Cast Filming For Season 2

Peep the new faces 👀

In one of the most hotly anticipated series of the year, filming for season two of Bridgerton is currently underway.

Behind the scenes snaps have emerged of the cast on set – and from what we can gather, we’re in for an absolute treat.

As we know, moving away from Daphne and her love interest The Duke (who sadly won’t be returning for season 2), the second installment of the series will focus on Daphe’s brother, Anthony, and his own personal quest for love. Filming on Old Royal Naval College at the University Of Greenwich in London, some familiar cast faces were spotted, along with some new ones too.

Of course, Colin Bridgerton played by Luke Newton gave us our first glimpse at filming for the second series, sharing a snap of him and ‘big bro’ Anthony looking ridey atop some horses.

Captioning the post Luke said: “The boys are back in town” – and yes, they most certainly are.

Since then, more BTS snaps have emerged,  showing our very own Nicola Coughlan who plays the role of Penelope Featherington aka Miss Whistledown, and her on-screen BFF Cressida Cowper. The two girls are joined by some snaps of new kids on the block, Melissa Advani and Priya Kansara.

Other shots have shown Phoebe Dynver reprising her role as Daphne, with a series of pap pictures showing the actress looking very glum in a carriage – we’re sensing some dramatic storylines.

Unfortunately, that’s all the backstage bits we’ve been treated to for now, but we’re certain there’s more to come. As for a release date, one is also yet to be confirmed, but we’re *manifesting* it’ll be at some point later on this year.

As we wait for the show to be back on our screens, we can at least feel happy in the knowledge that the series has been renewed for two more seasons after the second, so it will be around for a good time yet – hurrah!
