Lizzo Is Facing Backlash From Fans After She Called Chris Brown Her ‘Favourite Person In The World’

Lizzo is often in the headlines, whether she’s wowing us with her vocals and her latest looks, or getting candid with her audience about her mental health and general thoughts. But this time, Lizzo is facing backlash from fans after a recent video emerged of Lizzo calling Chris Brown her ‘favourite person in the whole f***ing world’.

Lizzo was recently performing in LA as part of her rescheduled The Millennium Tour, which was originally meant to be held in 2020 but was postponed to a later date.

Lizzo shared plenty of pics and BTS videos from the tour, but one that she didn’t share herself has ended up online anyway. In the video in question, Lizzo can be seen approaching Chris Brown for a photo, before telling him that he’s her “favourite person in the whole f***ing world”, and people are not impressed.

The video quickly surprised fans and followers online, who were not impressed to see Lizzo praising Chris Brown due to controversies over the years. As you may remember, back in 2009 was found guilty of felony assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna, who was then granted a restraining order.

Then, in 2017, his then-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was granted a five-year restraining order after reports of assault and threats against her after Chris had a baby with another woman.

Plenty of fans took to Twitter to share her disappointment with Lizzo, with one writing “not cHrIs bRoWn being lizzo’s favourite person in the whole fucking world when there are 7.9 billion of us”, while another shared: “Lizzo calling Chris Brown her favourite person… disappointing 😞”

Lizzo has yet to comment on anything, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
