Everything you need to know about our first ever InstaStars!

The hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards 2021 will take place on Saturday, November 6th in The Alex Hotel in Dublin, and will honour the best and brightest in Irish content creation across the social media spectrum.

Yes, an actual IRL awards ceremony which is sure to be most glam and glitzy event of the year, with those in attendance coming from all aspects of the ‘gram, including beauty, fashion, podcasting, comedy, food and those who inspire us, to name just a few categories.

As I’m sure you’re aware of by now, the voting system is OPEN and we’ve been blown away by the response so far, but if you haven’t cast your vote yet or you want to know a little bit more about our nominees, over the next two weeks we’re going to introduce you to everyone nominated across all 10 categories, showing you why we think they’re InstaStars.

Next up we’re looking at our 10 nominees in the fashion under 100k followers category. Because we have SO many incredible fashion content creators in Ireland we believed it was only right we give out two awards for this category, as well as including fashion creators in our Rising Star award too. There’s just so many incredible women here in Ireland with incredible taste, it’s so hard to narrow it down, but these women are paving the way. With their incredible fashion, savvy social media skills and all the insights on where to shop and what to shop, we count our blessings for their know-how.

Dublin based blogger Aisling Chan is always providing us with the best fashion content, especially coming into the winter season because her selection of coats give us so much inspiration. Showing us how to effortlessly layer while keeping warm and chic is her talent and we adore absolutely everything she wears.

Sometimes it can be hard to actually imagine wearing an outfit you see on Instagram, IRL. But Billy takes the guess work out. Her outfit shots take place in real world settings like grocery shops or petrol stations. It makes for a really fun page, not to mention the fits are fab.

Tara’s career as a radio DJ is seriously impressive. She hosts her own show on RTÉ 2FM Monday to Thursday from 7pm until 10pm, the only downside being her outfits aren’t visible over the air.
