Catherine Agbaje Shares What Really Happened With Scott On Love Island Aftersun

She spilt the tea!

Catherine Agbaje took to Love Island Aftersun and opened up about her time in the villa.

The Dubliner left the reality show earlier this week as she, and partner Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, were voted the least compatible couple via public vote.

Catherine and Elom sparked a connection in Casa Amor, while Catherine was in a couple with Scott van-der-Sluis. Upon returning from the challenge, Catherine and Scott clashed several times, which gained a lot of the public’s attention.

Opening up about where the drama stemmed from, the real estate agent admitted: “Obviously things were good between me and Scott, but there was a lot of uncertainty around it.”

“We knew Casa was coming up and we both said we were open. Every time a bombshell came in, Scott wanted to get to know them, so we just left stuff with an uncertainty. There was no definition there”

The Dublin girl admitted she wasn’t expecting the pro-footballer to stay loyal “because we had conversations about it.”

“When I saw him alone, I was obviously shocked.”

“It was a very, very tense situation. We’ve had some tense moments in the villa and that was by far, the most,” she admitted.

Sharing her initial reaction, Catherine explained: “Obviously I didn’t like seeing him alone, you know I care for Scott, and seeing him there, I just had like a gut feeling, like you just had to be there. I felt bad, I just wanted to speak to him, I just wanted to tell him everything.”

Although things got very heated between the pair after the re-coupling, Catherine was quick to stress that they were getting along well afterwards, and their friendship wasn’t shown.

“You literally only see an hour out of the 24 hours a day, things are said, me and Scott were in a good place, we’re still in a good place, what you didn’t see was all the sh*t after. If I wasn’t with Elom, I’d be with Whitney and Scott, like we were in a good place.”

The 22-year-old also expressed regret over her actions during the drama. Explaining: “What you need to understand is, there are feelings there so when you have arguments things do get tense and I never wanted to carry myself the way I did.”

“I didn’t want to get into it like that, but when you do care about someone, emotions come out.”
