Love Island Announces Return Of Opening Episode Twist

We’re so excited!

Love Island have announced the return of a fan favourite twist for the opening episode of the 2023 summer series.

The hit dating show will return to our screens next Monday, June 5th with brand new singles ready to mingle.

The official line-up is being announced today. However, ITV revealed it will be up to the public as to who will couple up with who during the first episode.

That’s right our favourite twist is back and better than ever!

The opening episode public vote was first introduced on the 2022 series of Love Island. It wasn’t implemented for the ninth series which aired this past winter.

It has been revealed however that the public vote will be back for the opening episode of what is sure to be an epic tenth series of the show.

Voting opens to the public at 8am on Thursday on the Love Island app – where you can vote for free.

You have until Friday night at 9pm to choose your couples, after that your vote will no longer be counted.

Maya Jama will return to keep an eye on our islanders as they navigate love, heartbreak and hell of a lot of drama over the next eight weeks.

While the hilarious Iain Stirling will be returning to voiceover each and every episode – providing us with a whole barrel of laughs throughout the series.

As the islanders head to the villa in June, they must be ready to battle it out for love to avoid being dumped from the island.

With new arrivals and added bombshells, heads are bound to turn. Others will stick it out and prove their feelings for each other.

It is going to be a wild ride! We’re more than ready to strap in and see who will be crowned the winners of Love Island series ten.
