Sherif Has Finally Revealed The Bizarre Reason He Was Removed From The Love Island Villa
Love Island’s Sherif has finally confirmed the real reason he was booted from the Villa last week, following tons of online speculation.
The Islander left under unknown circumstances last week, just as things seemed to hotting up with the stunning Anna, and little was said abut Sherif’s absence on the show.
Despite some fake viral tweets going around, suggesting a fight with fellow Islander Anton was the reason for him being removed, Love Island bosses released a statement saying: “After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa.”
Not much clarity there tbf.
But now, the man himself has finally shared the truth as to why he was asked to leave Mallorca, and it is really not what we were expecting to hear.
The 20-year-old admitted to The Sun that he made a hugely insensitive joke, after kicking fellow cast member Molly Mae.
“I did kick Molly-Mae in the groin area but it was an accident and she 100 per cent was not injured afterwards,” he revealed.
“She did appear to be in pain at first but then she stood up and seemed fine and we started laughing about it.
“I turned to Tommy and said, ‘That was a c*** punt.’ I realise now that was wrong and I would like to apologise.
“I’ve never used the word before and I don’t know where it came from. I think I have heard other people saying it and it just popped out.
“But I realise it can be offensive and, as someone that was raised by a strong and loving mother, I want to say that I would never intentionally harm a woman.
“I know I have been stupid and let myself down but I was not being malicious.
“This has been blown out of all proportion and I have been made to look like a terrible person when I am not.”
Well, now we know…
