After weeks of appointments and a surgery, Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that the mole she had on her leg was classed as a malignant melanoma.
After noticing the mole on her leg and feeling unsure about what was going on, Molly-Mae went to two dermatologists, before seeking more advice, only to find out the mole was deemed a type of skin cancer.
“I got the call today and he’s told me it is malignant melanoma – which is skin cancer basically,” Molly-Mae reveals after a work trip to Italy.
“It’s obviously petrifying, shocking and scary. I don’t even know what to think or say. I cannot believe I was told by other doctors it was OK. I am so upset and angry,” she continued.

With her mole now removed, Molly-Mae said the official biopsy is still underway, as the mole has had to be sent to America for further investigation, to see exactly what time of melanoma it is, after one professional disagreed with the diagnosis.
Revealing that although she’s been in floods of tears with multiple family members, Molly-Mae is now remaining strong and relieved that the skin cancer is off her leg and away from her body.
Sharing the video, she urged fans to be vigilant of their skin, attend check-ups and always seek medical advice if they’re unsure about something.
“I just briefly asked this doctor when I was walking out. I was walking around with skin cancer on my leg!
“If I hadn’t have asked, I’d still have that mole on my leg now and I’d be none the wiser. It could be spreading through my body, you just never know,” Molly-Mae added.
