This Famous Singer Just Revealed He Met With Love Island Bosses About Going On The Show

Could this be one of the bombshells? Fans are hoping so!

With a very successful music career, over four million Instagram followers, best friends that include the likes of Romeo Beckham and a recent stint on Strictly Come Dancing, it’s no surprise to us that British popstar HRVY is in talks to go on Love Island.

Speaking on Capital FM’s evening show with Jimmy Hill, the 22-year-old openly confessed that not only is he interested in going on the show, but he’s been in talks with Love Island bosses and ITV.

“I had an interview with the ITV bosses about other stuff and I was like… ‘so realistically, can I go on Love Island?’ And they were like, ‘I mean, if you wanted to.’”

Continuing, the Good Vibes star added that he’s currently single and actually really looking for love – not fame, which he already has, and so thinks the show would be a perfect fit for him.

“I’m looking for someone so I’d actually love to,” he added.

In the past year, HRVY has been linked to Belfast YouTuber Olivia Neill. The pair were rumoured to be dating for a couple of months in late 2020 when Olivia was living in London, however, neither of them confirmed the romance and now, Olivia is back in a relationship with her former boyfriend.

During HRVY’s time on Strictly Come Dancing after his rumoured romance with Olivia Neill, the singer was linked to 19-year-old Maisie Smith.

Speaking to The Sun however, HRVY was quick to quash any rumours surrounding Maisie by saying:

“Nothing happened. It was funny to watch everyone talk about it. Sometimes we were like, ‘shall we play up to it?’ We are really good friends and still speak.”

Well, who knows what could be around the corner. Going off previous seasons, the fact that HRVY is openly talking about potentially going on Love Island would suggest that he ended up turning down the contract, as Islanders are usually under lock and key, not mentioning a word prior to walking into the villa, but, you never know.

We for one are just excited for the show to return. Roll on June 28th, friends.
