So These Two Love Islanders Matched On A Dating App Before The Show

Not that I’m entirely shocked about the fact that two of this year’s Islanders previously matched on a dating app, but it still comes as a slight surprise. It turns out it’s a small world after all, eh?

In this weekend’s Love Island: Unseen Bits, newbie Lucinda revealed she’d matched with Chuggs Wallis on a dating app before the current series.

Chatting with the other Islanders, she shared, “Do you know what? I actually matched with Chuggs on a dating app, and I remember talking to him about bucket hats.”

She continued, “And then this guy comes in and he’s like, ‘Hi, my name is Chuggs, I own a bucket hat company.’ I was like, ‘I’ve literally had this conversation with you!'”

Any Love Island fan will know that the pair didn’t actually cross paths while in the villa, as Chuggs was dumped from the villa after Rachel decided to couple up with Brad. And well, we all know how that’s going for them.

After leaving the villa, Chuggs share a sweet message to his followers and fellow Love Island participants. “Thank you for all the kind messages and a warm welcome back, it means the world,” he said on Instagram, “Loads of love for everyone else that managed more than 48 hrs 😂.”
