Official: Love Island Finale Date Confirmed

Not too long left!

I know, I know, in my bones, that I’m not the only one who’s easily zoning out of this year’s Love Island. For me, it’s just not up to the drama of other years. But you can bet that the second I hear someone’s voice going one decibel over the norm, or I hear the hushed tones of goss, I tune right back in.

If you’re in the same boat, you’ll be forgiven for not hearing when narrator Iain Sterling announced the finale date in last night’s episode.

During a scene where we saw Mary and Dale having the chats, Iain announced when we can expect the show to wrap up. “Mary wants to take things slowly with Dale. Mary, you’ve got all the time in the world. And by all the time in the world, I do Monday the 23rd of August. After which, you’re out on your ear”, Iain sneakily revealed.

So how long do we have? If you don’t want to do the maths, that’s exactly two weeks from today. In terms of bombshells and recoupling, we don’t exactly have all the time in the world.

Tonight, we’ll see who the Islanders decide to send home, with Kaz, Abi, Mary, Tyler, Dale and Jake in the firing line. Two are getting sent home, to make room for two other bombshells: medical student Priya and footballer Aaron. Read all about the new bombshells here.
