Jade C is loving… A summer scent

I adore a summer range of beauty products that bring all the fruity, beach-y goodness to their scents for the season that’s in it. You know the ones that you open the lid and get an immediate hit of fragrance? Perfection.

I have been loving the Soap and Glory PEACH PLEASE BODY BUTTER – it smells delicious. I have incorporated it into my night routine now to lock in my moisture and give myself a dopamine hit, even imagining I’m on a tropical vacation eating peach on the beach!

Jade H is loving… Tasty cocktails

Not a week goes by where I’m not though, tbf.

This time, it was Lemuel’s bar in Dublin’s The Conrad hotel that whet my whistle with their stunning new menu of delicious drinks inspired by the hotel’s past, present, and future.
Each cocktail is carefully curated by the bar team, using local ingredients and the inspiration of cultural heritage.

Try the Spill The Tea – it’s incredible.

I know, shocker, I’m talking about the theatre again. But as a fan of the arts, and after the struggle for live theatre during the pandemic, it is truly amazing to see everything thriving once again.

The Bord Gais have announced that Hamilton will be on next year and I can’t quite cope with my excitement.

But that’s not the only big show on its way over. Strictly Ballroom The Musical is coming at the end of this month! The show is based on Baz Luhrmann’s smash hit musical and is starring Strictly Come Dancing champion, Kevin Clifton. We absolutely love to see it.

Hear me out.

I’ve just finished Better Call Saul, and I adored it. The drama, the comedy, the *ending*. It was chef’s kiss, all of it, and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get around to it.

My adoration for the show has also ignited an intense love and appreciation for Bob Odenkirk, who is not only a talent, but also seems like the soundest man. He was hanging out with Aisling Bea while in Dublin recently, so he’s gotta be cool.

Bob has also been spotted out and about supporting workers during the Writer’s Strike in the US this past week or so. A true gent.

Some people want to mute their friends when they head off on a gorgeous holiday, I’m the opposite. I want the people I follow to show me every inch of their trip. What did you have for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Did you sit by the pool? What’s your view? Any nice beaches?

I adore holiday content because I can live through you and also get ideas for if I was to head to the same place. It’s nice to see people treating themselves to a bit of travelling so I am here for it. And yes, maybe people want to not be posting while they are away, but feel free to share the pics in bulk when you’re back – I love to see it.

And you know I’ll be providing far too many pictures of my own hols too.

More specifically, bangers that have been remixed to further increase their banger status.

Singer and Platinum VIP Style Awards nominee Erica Cody recently released a remix of her hit single ‘Cry Baby,’ and it’s just the bop we need to get us hyped for the summer.

One for the pre-drinks this weekend, for sure.
