Is There a Desperate Housewives Reunion on the Cards?

Teri Hatcher has spoken out about her thoughts on a Desperate Housewives Reunion and sadly it doesn’t appear like it will happen – yes we’re crying too.

The Desperate Housewives star spoke to E! News when in New York for the American Heart Associations’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Concert stating: “I don’t think there’ll be a reboot. I think it’s been a long time. We had amazing fans and I know everyone on that show is really grateful for the journey”.

She also notes what a beautiful place the set of Wisteria Lane was to work on as it lay on top of a hill in Universal Studio’s in Los Angeles overlooking the entire city.

The show ran for a total of eight seasons making it an integral part of all of the actors’ lives particularly those who were of a young age while on set. She mentions still being particularly close to her onscreen daughter played by Andrea Bowen, even revealing that her own daughter Emerson is in fact friends with the actress too: I did just have dinner with Andrea Bowen who played my daughter. Her and my real daughter, we all had dinner about three weeks ago and she’s 32-years-old”. 

It really is lovely seeing old cast mates still holding a strong relationship.Teri had nothing but love for the young actress saying: “She is the most beautiful human being and still an amazing actress”.

Guess we will just have to watch reruns to get our fix of Wisteria Lane
