Maya Jama Takes A Subtle Jab At Ex Stormy, On Love Island Aftersun

It was a mic drop moment for Maya!

It seems Maya had a few things to say about her ex Stormzy on Sunday night’s episode of Love Island’s Aftersun.

The ex couple were together for four years before splitting in August 2019 after rumours the popular rapper cheated came to the fore.

During the latest episode of Aftersun, panellist Sam Thompson pointed out that Zach was still wearing Molly’s bracelet while he attempted to kiss Kady.

Maya jumped in to say: “That’s real life though girls – and boys, they’ll wear your necklace and lip someone else, we just don’t get it on camera.”

We have to say it was a bit of an iconic moment for the Love Island host.

Maya was linked to Stormzy earlier this year after they were spotted out together following the end of her engagement to NBA star Ben Simmons.

They’ve been spotted out together on a number of occasions over the last few months with a number of rumours flying around that they were in regular contact.

During an interview with The Times earlier this year Maya revealed she’s actually “really, really single”.

She added: “We were so young when we met, just beginning our careers. I was starting at MTV. He’d not even released a single at that point. We were just little babies.”

“I don’t think either of us knew it was going to be such a big thing. We were just: we’re young and in love and we’re going to go for it and work really hard. We’re just together. We never really did red carpets. We didn’t do any of that stuff.”
