Er, What?! Selena Gomez’s Genius Hairstyling Hack Involves A €12 Face Cream

Totally trying this.

Selena Gomez is currently on the US and Canada leg of her Revival world our (which hits Dublin on November 8th, btw), meaning her glam squad are no doubt pulling double shifts to keep her hair and make-up looking on point at all times.

With 11 shows in a row before her next day off, Selena’s going to be blasting through crazy amounts of hairspray, texturiser and the like in the coming fortnight, but her go-to product is something entirely unexpected.

Speaking to Us Weekly, the singer’s stylist Marissa Marino revealed that she uses a slick of BB cream to tame baby hairs and give extra gloss and shine during those rapid between-song touch ups.

At times Marissa and her team may only have a minute or two to change up Selena’s hair – in fact, at one point during each show Marissa has to braid Selena’s hair in under sixty seconds – so it’s no surprise that she looks to multi-purpose products to make her job a little easier.

As for the singer’s signature long wavy locks, Marissa achieves the relaxed look with a spritz of hairspray (Pantene obvz, as Selena is the face of the brand), adds texture and body with a 3/4 inch curling iron, and finishes things off by gently running a wide-toothed comb through the hair.
