The countdown to seeing the much anticipated Wicked on the big screen is officially on. The beloved musical, which has won the hearts of theatre goers on Broadway and the West End, will finally land in cinemas on November 22nd.

The film, which is being split into two parts, is directed by Jon M. Chu, and stars pop star Ariana Grande and actress Cynthia Erivo who are portraying Glinda and Elphaba.

We have seen sneak peaks of costume designer Paul Tazewell’s magical outfits in the official trailer including Glinda’s stunning pink tulle dress, and it has made us all the more excited.

The stars have also given us some wicked fashion inspo as they take inspiration from their on-screen characters as they attend events in the run up to the release.

Elphaba’s wardrobe is the exact opposite of Glinda’s. Where Glinda is all light colours and soft feminine, Elphaba is darker and more mysterious.
