7 Things That’ll Definitely Happen In The Irish Traitors

Hook it to my veins.

BBC

Claudia Winkleman may not be coming to Ireland……….. but The Traitors is.

That’s right, the series that’s got everyone talking is reportedly in the works for an Irish version, and yes, we will be sat.

Confirmation of the news has yet to arrive, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t get overly excited for a TV show that may or may not exist. Right?

Anyway, here’s our predictions for seven things that will happen in the series.

1. Laura Fox will host

When The Traitors comes to Ireland, it’ll need a host – and we’ve got a few idea as to who should take the reins.

They need to be animated. They need to be fashionable. They need to throw their entire soul into this series.

We nominate Laura Fox. She’d smash it.

2. A mother and son will take part secretly and be found out straight away

Look, this isn’t The Traitors (UK). This is The Traitors (Ireland).

Off the back of Diane and Ross’ incredible performances in season of The Traitors UK, it makes sense that Irish producers would attempt the same level of deception.

These people will probably be found out right away though. Calling it.

3. Two contestants will figure out they know each other

It’s Ireland!

4. At least three influencers will be among the cast

It wouldn’t be a reality show without some content creators.. and even though the lack of influencers is what makes The Traitors so damn good, you can be sure a few of them will pop up in an Irish version of the show.

5. The castle will immediately be up for rent on Airbnb for €1k a night

And you and the gals will be busy booking your next bank holiday weekend away ASAP.

6. Someone’s nanny will become a national treasure

She’ll be a Traitor hunter, and she’ll be completely ruthless.

No one will be safe. This woman has seen a lot. She takes no prisoners. She’s an icon, a legend, and we don’t even know who she is yet.

7. The Faithfuls will win because Irish people are bad at lying

Tell us we’re wrong.
