Dermot Kennedy and Paul Mescal gave the nation serious FOMO yesterday when they both (in nicely planned timing) posted a snap out for a walk, enjoying the sunshine and smiling happily, like all best friends should.

Yep, it’s the bromance we never expected but now, so dearly need. Paul and Dermot, or as we’re going to call them Derul pronounced “dur-ewel” because that’s what we’re doing while looking at this snap.

Drooling.

Yes, it was a good day and for those who don’t know, their meeting was no coincidence, no accidental Made In Chelsea staged bump-in, in fact, the pair are actually getting ready to work together.

The two will be joining forces for a very special performance titled ‘Some Summer Night’.

Taking place on the 30th of July in The Natural History Museum in London. The concert will be a pay-per-view event with live streams of the event in relation to different time zones, meaning that everyone around the world can tune in to watch. What’s more, those buying a viewing will have the option to donate their money to the Black Lives Matter Global Network.

For the performance, Dermot will be playing with his full band, and Paul will make a special appearance either alone or alongside Dermot and co.

As we’re all very aware of the incredible vocal cords on Dermot Kennedy, you might be surprised to know that Paul Mescal is also an incredible singer, coming from a very talented family.

Often sharing photos of himself singing while playing the piano; I mean, what can’t this man do? Paul caught the attention of some incredibly famous faces including Sia who praised his skill.

Yep, Sia!

And here’s Paul singing Nothing Arrived by The Villagers with his younger sister Nell; who is definitely one to watch.

Goosebumps.
