Ariana Grande Sharing Her Botox And Filler Experience Is So Important

In a candid moment, Ariana Grande has opened up about the pressure of beauty standards and her experience with cosmetic procedures.

On Wednesday, the musician posted a makeup tutorial with Vogue on YouTube, where she expressed her struggles with her appearance over the years.

Ariana rose to fame at the age of only 16, when she became known for the famous role of Cat Valentine in Victorious, and has since become one of the world’s most well-known female pop singers with over 379 million followers on Instagram.
“Being exposed to so many voices at such a young age, especially when people have things to stay about your appearance… it’s really hard to know what’s worth hearing and not” she explains.

She then reveals how when she was 17, she turned to Botox and filler in hopes that she could hide from all the crazy beauty standards that were set in front of her. She says “I have had a ton of lip filler over the years, and Botox… I stopped in 2018”.
The Thank U, Next singer became emotional as she explained how it all became too much for her and she just felt like hiding from the world.

On a brighter note, she shares how she has become more accepting of growing older and is even looking forward to watching her face naturally age.
“I want to see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines… I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper, and I laugh more and more.” She even proclaims that ageing is a beautiful thing – and we think she’s absolutely right!
