Artist Audrey Hamilton Raises Over A Massive €20k For Breast Cancer Ireland
What an achievement!
Audrey Hamilton has helped raise over €20,000 for Breast Cancer Ireland through her the sale of her artwork.
Due to restrictions surrounding Covid-19, many fundraisers haven’t been able to go ahead this year and charities up and down the country have been greatly impacted.
In a bid to help, Audrey created a piece called FEMME to raise awareness for breast cancer, and revealed a large portion of the sales would go to BCI.
“Today I went to the bank and officially transferred the donation of €21,000 to BCI on behalf of every one of you who purchased,” she said.

“Again, a big thank you to all of you who helped play a part by purchasing a print and sharing FEMME. It feels good to be able to do something through my artwork to help raise funds for a very worthy cause.”
Audrey was inspired to create the piece and raise awareness, after her best friend and broadcaster Georgie Crawford was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2017.
“She has been and continues to be an inspiration to so many women and is also an advocate and ambassador for Breast Cancer Ireland,” she said.
