Granted, we’re partial to let our minds run wild when it comes to something we hope to be true. Like clues that our favourite show has been renewed for another season, hints that our favourite celeb is creating their own brand, or signs that show two people were always destined to be soulmates.

You see where we’re going with this one. As lifelong friends, raising their kids together and being closely tied as families, Travis Barker, the new boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian always had a part to play in the eldest daughter’s life. And now, as footage from the past, when the Blink 182 star made a couple cameo appearances in the show is beginning to trend again, it looks as though fans are hunting for clues to show the pair were always meant to be.

Could it be when they locked eyes for a second longer than usual? When Travis attended Kourtney’s 40th alongside her then boyfriend Younes Bendjima? His presence at the multiple Christmas Eve parties? His strong bond with his own children that Kourtney has always valued? Who knows.

The first clip doing the rounds sees Kourtney and Travis making gingerbread houses with their kids at Christmas. The pair are at Kourtney’s house, alongside some family members and close friends. Fans notice how happy Kourtney looks when she’s talking to Travis at the beginning of the clip, adding that “he’s been around for a minute.”

While another clip shows the pair hugging while again, bringing their kids to do some Christmas activities, this time they’re ice skating at the lakes at Thousand Oaks.

And in the final, two second clip from Kourtney’s 40th birthday bash, we can see the star cuddled up next to Travis while partying in Los Angeles. During Kourtney’s 40th birthday she was seeing French model Younes Bendjima, but also in attendance was the father of her three children, Scott Disick.

Cute. We’re loving how in love these two are now and regardless of how they got there, it’s nice to see that their friendship grew into something even more special for them.
