We’ve got a text…and it’s a good one! As some Love Island legends will be reuniting for a brand new spin-off, The Love Island Games.

The news was confirmed, by the Love Island USA social media.

“All of our favorite Islanders in one place?! Who do you want to see back for #LoveIslandGames? Sound off in the comments and don’t miss the premiere this fall,” they wrote.

Comedian Iain Sterling narrated the teaser, saying: “Get excited! Your favourite islanders from around the world return for a brand new high-stakes competition.”

The new series will include former contestants from the UK, Australian, and US editions of the reality series.

So far, little information has been released, however, we do know this cheeky new iteration will see Islanders faced with both team and couples’ challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling and dramatic new arrivals.

Rumours of an All-Star series began spreading last year, and just recently former islander Kady McDermott claimed she was approached about a spin-off

The season two/season 10 star told Sam Thompson and Pete Wick on the Staying Relevant podcast, that she was approached about the series and claimed they would be filming in September.

She said: “I got asked to do Love Island The Games in September – I’ve had enough, I’m retired for the year. I’ll leave that one.”

Iain Stirling

No islanders have been announced yet but surely the line-up will be good as they have quite the pool to draw from.

While we might not know our contestants, we have a good guess for who the narrator will be. Yep, Iain Stirling has been the voice of Love Island UK since day one, and took over narration duties on the US version as well. Plus he voiced the teaser, so the Scotsman is a safe bet.

The series will be streaming on Peacock in the US, but will hopefully be made available this side of the Atlantic as well, as it is produced by ITV Entertainment, an ITV America company.

We CANNOT wait!
