Insta Creep: James Charles Got Dragged For Calling For More ‘Influencer Representation In The Media’…
What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.
In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.
Lizzo continues to be the popstar we need and deserve, wearing her Met Gala feathered coat to the airport the next morning.
Wearing her trackies and clutching a teddy bear, she stomped through the terminal in her giant Marc Jacobs confection, giving us drama, giving us elegance, giving us travel style #goals.
If you haven’t listened to her album Cuz I Love You yet, do it NOW, because it’s the perfect balm for this rainy grey day. As is Lizzo herself, TBH.
James Charles is getting dragged for describing his appearance at the Met Gala as a win for ‘influencer representation in the media’. Influencer! Representation!
The YouTuber attended the Gala on Monday dressed by Alexander Wang, and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Rosie Huntington-Whitely.
Thanking the designer for his work yesterday, James wrote:
Being invited to such an important event like the ball is such an honour and a step forward in the right direction for influencer representation in the media and I am so excited to be a catalyst.
Look, he’s literally 19. But he can’t really believe that influencers are under-represented or marginalised anywhere? He’ll soon be disabused of that notion, anyway:
ah, yes. the historically oppressed and marginalized class, "influencers." pic.twitter.com/g3gFko2eyz

Oh dear. Influencer representation is the next human rights frontier, we can feel it.
Sophie Turner was also tickled by the fact that her brother-in-law Nick Jonas looked like Game of Thrones’ Littlefinger at the Met Gala.
Nick turned up to the pink carpet sporting a white suit by Dior, a moustache/goatee combo, and lots of rings – he also clasped his hands together in extremely Littlefinger-ian fashion, and the memes came rolling in.
He acknowledged the similarities on Instagram, saying: “Sansa… we must protect the vale.”
And Sansa herself responded, commenting:
Quit trying to manipulate me….. ugh I thought you died last season
LOL. Will she ever get tired of the GoT jokes? We hope not.
And now it’s time for… #WilloughbyWatch
Charting the public’s obsession with what Holly Willoughby is wearing.
What a dream of a summer dress on Hol today! The price is… not quite as dreamy, coming in at around £360 from designer Olivia Rubin (it also doesn’t seem to be available at the moment).
Nevertheless, the hordes have been pleased. “Such a pretty dress! Cheers up this dull, rainy day,” wrote one. “Each morning her husband opens his eyes he should by rights thank the lucky stars that he has Holly next to him,” said another. Er… intense.
