Insta Creep: Paul Hollywood Apologised For A Joke He Made About Diabetes On GBBO…
What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.
In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.
Paul Hollywood has apologised for a joke he made about diabetes on Great British Bake Off the other night.
During the technical challenge on Tuesday’s episode, Paul described the dessert the bakers were making as ‘diabetes on a plate’, which displeased some viewers.
Some pointed out that jokes like this contribute to damaging stereotypes around the disease:

The phrase "Diabetes on a plate" needs to stop being used.
Please educate yourself on Diabetes. That's just not how it works. Stop adding to the stigmatism!
I'm disappointed in Paul Hollywood and Bake Off for using such shitty, damaging words.

Somewhat surprisingly, Paul addressed the criticism on Instagram along with a photo of some Chelsea buns.
“A remark re diabetes I made on tonight’s show was thoughtless and I meant no harm, as both my grandad and my own mother suffer/suffered from diabetes… apologies,” he wrote. How contrite!

Blake Lively wished husband Ryan Reynolds a happy birthday in typical Lively-Reynolds fashion.
The couple have been known to troll each other on social media, with Ryan posting several unflattering photos of Blake in honour of her 32nd birthday earlier this year:
For her tribute to Ryan on his 43rd birthday yesterday, Blake decided to stick her finger up his nose to land the gag: “I picked a good one.”
Stunning.

Kylie Jenner and her mate Stassie had a party to celebrate their matching surgery… but before you say “Oh, as in their identical asses?”, it was laser eye surgery.
The pair filmed themselves with their eyes clamped shut in the aftermath of the surgery, with Stassie admitting they were “feeling loopy”:
When they got the all clear from the doc, they decided to celebrate their perfect vision with a party – and as if matching surgery wasn’t enough in the first place, they got matching latex dresses with giant eyes on them. You know, just to hammer the point home.
Snaps from the shindig show a surprisingly empty and quiet ‘party bus’ ferrying them to the venue, and a tipsy Kylie can be heard roaring “My sight has been BORN it’s my fucking BIRTHDAY.”
We’re throwing a party in honour of our next teeth cleaning. Who wants to make us a latex dress of teeth? Thanks in advance.
And finally, here is Jason Segel photobombing a couple’s engagement shoot.
The couple were taking some photos outside the Art Museum in Philadelphia when the How I Met Your Mother actor jumped into one of the photos. LOL.
