Katy Perry Has Just Announced That She And Orlando Bloom Are Expecting Their First Child

When we caught a glimpse at Katy Perry’s engagement ring, everyone went into a bit of a frenzy. Now, in a not so casual manner, Katy has just announced that she’s having a baby with her fiancé Orlando Bloom.

Announcing the news in total Beyoncé style, the 35-year-old shared the happy news in the music video of her brand new single ‘Never Worn White’.

Katy sent her fans wild yesterday when she shared a teaser of the new video, where a split second of the video showed her holding a baby bump – but, no one could be really sure. Putting baby speculation to rest, Katy’s full video was released, with the ending showing her standing in a sheer dress holding her bump.

While this is Katy’s first child, Orlando is a little more experienced in the baby department, as he shares a 9-year-old son, Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

Speaking in an Instagram live video after the video’s premiere, Katy said: “There’s a lot that will be happening this summer, not only will I be giving birth – literally – but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for,”

“I’m excited, we’re excited and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”

Katy also went on to speak about her news in typical Katy fashion over on Twitter, joking about the fact that she no longer needs to hide her baby bump.
