Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, who came in third place in the 2021 Love Island finale, have revealed that they’ve recently had to up their home security after a break-in.

The pair have been going strong since their time on the show, having moved in together last November. But they’ve now revealed that just last month, Teddy’s car was broken into and Faye’s camera was stolen.

Since the incident, they’ve installed CCTV outside their home and set up an alarm system which immediately calls the police if triggered.

Speaking about the incident in an interview with OK!, Faye shared: “It’s hard, but it’s in the hands of the police and what can we do. The police were so helpful and they know where we are with the alarm system going directly to them and we have seen a lot more police patrolling which has been really nice.”

Teddy then added: “It is massively [scary]… It felt so strange getting into my car in and out for a while knowing someone had touched all my stuff and invaded my privacy.”

He also added: “I’ll be thinking twice making sure my car is definitely locked and Faye’s and double-checking all the locks on the house.

“We’re trying not to put our house on social media in certain angles and we’re being careful. It’s something that we can’t help but it’s the way of the world, unfortunately.”
