Love Island’s Sammy Root And Jess Harding Allegedly Split

The report comes just three months since they won the show.

This year’s Love Island winners Sammy Root and Jess Harding have allegedly just broken up.

A source told Mail Online that the pair have called it quits on their relationship, just two months after making it out of the villa with a cash prize of £50,000.

The source alleges that the pair feel their “relationship changed since leaving the villa”, and that they are “better off as friends”.

Some fans had been questioning the strength of the pair’s relationship, as Sammy recently re-shared a cryptic post to his TikTok account.

The quote Sammy shared read, “Men don’t get jealous over someone hitting their gf up. They get jealous of the girl giving the guy hitting her up the attention he wants.” Yikes!

Fans also noticed that Jess had jetted off on a girls holiday to Ibiza, where she’s currently partying and soaking up the sun.

Could it be a post-breakup trip?

Eagled eyed fans of the pair on Twitter have spotted that Jess has removed Sammy from her pinned photos on Instagram, and deleted the highlights she had of him.

Others noted that the relationship may have had rocky foundations to begin with, thanks to a tumultuous journey in the Love Island villa.

At the time of the show’s finale, many fans were shocked that Sammy and Jess took the crown at all, because of their ongoing conflict.

Neither Sammy or Jess have made any statement yet, so we’ll have to wait for confirmation.
