Pint-sized pop star Ariana Grande is set to bring out a documentary following her every move while touring the world last year with her Sweetener tour.
With 97 tour dates that took the star right up to Christmas of last year, it is expected that this new documentary which was filmed continuously while the star was on tour, will look at all the highs and lows of life when travelling to perform.
Between rehearsals, live shows, trying to balance a personal life with constantly being in the public eye, the series will follow how Ariana juggles it all on a daily basis. An insider has revealed that it will be a “brutally honest and raw depiction of how tough life can be on the road but will include the happier, heart-warming times too.”

Sweetener was Ariana’s first world tour following her 2017 Dangerous Woman tour which included a terror attack on her first night in Manchester, leading to the death of 23 people and wounding over 139 more.
Going back on tour – despite it being two years later, wasn’t ever going to be an easy task for Ariana. She previously explained to Vogue that going on tour again was to provide herself with “healing” from the PTSD; caused by both the 2017 terror attack and the passing of her ex boyfriend Mac Miller, who died just over a year later in September 2018.

And so, leaving the cameras in for the first time in a long time, it is expected that Ariana’s new documentary will be one all eyes will be on once it finds a home. Apparently, Netflix has started the bidding at £4 million with agent Scooter Braun overseeing who bags the documentary. Scooter’s other major client Justin Bieber signed a documentary deal with YouTube earlier this year, debuting Justin Bieber: Seasons in February for an eight episode run.
We can imagine it’ll be a tough call as to see who lands this deal but either way, we’re excited to see Ari and company back on our screens. Anything to relive the Sweetener tour, right?
