Normal People’s Paul Mescal And Leo Varadkar Join Tonight’s Late Late Show Lineup

Tonight's show is not one to miss!

Leo Varadkar has been confirmed as the first guest to join Ryan Tubridy on tonight’s Late Late Show.

Discussing the latest restrictions and the road map out of lockdown, the Taoiseach will discuss what’s next while also talking about the public’s effort so far in helping to battle the ongoing pandemic.

Expected to be joining Ryan at 9:35pm, the Taoiseach will have a quick turnaround this evening as he’s scheduled to brief the nation between 7pm and 9pm.

Also joining Ryan tonight is Paul Mescal. The Kildare actor shot to fame earlier this month for his role as Connell in Normal People and later on, will be joining the show from London. Chatting about his quick rise to fame, his new fanbase of admirers looking for his hand in marriage, and what it’s really like to film those intimate sex scenes. We’ve no doubt that Paul will entice a few more viewers to tune in tonight.

For the musical element of tonight’s show, Picture This will be following on from Dermot Kennedy last week. Performing a few tunes live from the studio, the boys will also be discussing their recent support of children’s hospice The LauraLynn Foundation.

And lastly, other segments on tonight’s show include 2019 Toy Show star, Tom Cullen discussing how his Nanny Pat is getting on in lockdown. Laois couple Niall and Aisling Donoher will be joining Ryan to discuss their campaign “Do It For Dan” – which helped them raise over two million euro for their son’s life-saving treatment. And finally, members of Ireland’s GAA community will discuss how sport is still keeping spirits high despite its widespread ban.
