We didn’t see this one coming…

As we all know, Scott Disick was not present for the Kravis Italian wedding extravaganza and because of this, many assumed the father of Kourtney’s children wasn’t invited to their nuptials, but it turns out there may have been an invite all along…

According to E! News, a source said, “Kourtney extended an invite knowing Scott wouldn’t come…She wanted this huge moment to be about her and Travis and knew the dynamic wouldn’t be right having Scott there.”

Scott seems to be taking his exes engagement (now marriage) hard in the recent episodes of The Kardashians, so it is understandable if he decided to give the wedding a miss.

The source continued, “It’s definitely hard for Scott to see but since Kourtney and Travis have been celebrating their love for months now, it’s been easier for him to cope, it’s not as hurtful and he’s getting through it,” E! News reported.

Instead, Scott spent the weekend in Los Angeles, seeming in good spirits alongside some friends. Heading for dinner alongside superstar Rod Stewart and his family, Scott dined at LAVO Ristorante in West Hollywood, getting papped entering the restaurant chatting and smiling alongside Kimberly Stewart.

On the day of the wedding Scott headed to the “beach” as he posted a snap in an airplane.

All three of Scott and Kourtney’s children, Mason, Penelope and Reign spent the weekend in Italy, but reunited with Scott as soon as they got home. With Scott sharing a sweet video of his kids to Instagram today celebrating his birthday with the caption, “Happy birthday 2 me! Biggest blessing of my life right here!”
