So it seems we will get to see Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah finish out their stories – from one Bonrad stan to another, Jenny you BETTER honour our fave couple!

That’s right Prime Video and Jenny Han both confirmed that season three of the hit Prime Video show would be happening once the SAG AFTRA strikes were over and payment issues resolved. While we are still eagerly anticipating the final two episodes of season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty. The announcement of season three has sent fans of the story into a complete frenzy – particularly Conrad girlies, if you’ve read the final book in the trilogy you’ll know why.

If producers of The Summer I Turned Pretty follow the same timeline as seasons one and two then it is likely season 3 will be available on Prime Video in summer 2024.

However, Prime Video included a note in their announcement about season three, explaining that season three was “greenlit ahead of the strikes and production will not begin until after negotiations are resolved”. This may mean a later release date than expected.

The Summer I Turned Pretty season three screen adaptation will likely follow the storyline of  Jenny Han’s third book in the trilogy, We’ll Always Have Summer, the final book in the series.

While Jenny has adapted bits of the screenplay to suit a 2022 and 2023 Cousins Beach, the synopsis of the third book should give you an overall view of what we could expect from season three.

The synopsis of We’ll Always Have Summer reads: “One girl. Two brothers. The biggest decision of her life…Just when she thought she had all the answers…Isabel has only ever loved two boys, Conrad and Jeremiah Fisher. One broke her heart; the other made her happier than she ever thought she’d be. But each brother is keeping a secret, and this summer Isabel must choose between the Fisher boys, once and for all. Which brother will it be?”
