Stacey Soloman has shared her newborn daughter’s unusual name – much to fan’s relief.

Introducing Rose Opal Esmè Solomon-Swash to the world. The TV star shared THE most adorable snap of the tiny one beside a rose last night, captioning the snap:

“Our beautiful flower – Our precious jewel – who is ever loved.”

It’s been the most magical week. We love you to the moon and back our little Rose We feel so so lucky to have you here…”

In the caption, Stacey hints at the meaning behind her daughter’s name – saying that she is their ‘flower’ and ‘jewel’. However, it is the little one’s middle name that holds the most meaning for the couple.

Opal is both Rose and Stacey’s birthstone, with them both being born on the same day.

Stacey’s engagement ring is also made up of two Australian opals. With Australia being the place where she and Joe met and fell in love.

Sharing the ring on her Instagram when she and Joe first got engaged on Christmas Eve 2020, Stacey told her 4.7 million followers:

“Sometimes I take it off just to look inside it. Because inside it are two Australian Opals”

“Opal is my birthstone and Australia is where we fell in love. It gives me goosebumps every time I look at them.”

Some followers also predicted that Stacey would name their daughter Rose, as she’s been dropping hints since announcing her pregnancy, through her choice of outfits and bedroom decor – even down to wearing roses in her hair for the baby shower.
