Speaking with Today FM’s Dermot & Dave, the Kildare man shared: “The chain is with Daisy! I gave it to her as a wrap gift at the end.”
He and Daisy are incredibly close and recently reunited for a joint-Halloween costume.
Daisy dressed up as Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag, while Paul dressed up as his pal, Andrew Scott’s character in the BBC series, the Hot Priest.
The English actress casually dropped the picture on her Instagram Story this week and sent fans into meltdown.

The chain truly captivated audiences, something no one expected.
Costume Designer, Lorna Mugan told RTÉ we they included the chain in the show, and it certainly didn’t involved creating a cult-following for the piece of jewellery.
She explained: “The chain is in the novel, it’s one small line. Marianne notices it on Connell and remembers it as something she saw at school. We knew it was there, we didn’t think too much about it but Paul picked up on it straight away. After the first fitting, he said, ‘can I get that chain?’”
“So we quickly went out, got a selection of chains, he picked that and then he put it on and that was it. He had it on for rehearsals, for the shoot. We never saw it again, it was just on him. It was very important to Paul and looking back now, it does jump out a bit!”
