Kylie Just Claimed She Invented Wigs And Twitter’s Having A Field Day
George Washington and his cronies want a word, Kylie.
Kylie Jenner told us back in January that 2016 would be her year of “realising stuff,” and she’s just realised something pretty mind-blowing.
The 18-year-old appears on the cover of Marie Claire‘s new Fresh Faces issue, and lets readers in on a little secret – she’s the one who “started wigs.”
No, it wasn’t King Louis XIV, or the ancient Romans. It was Kylie Jenner, circa 18 months ago.
“I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs,” the reality star said of her recent day-glo green and blue hairstyles. “Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night… I do whatever I want to do and people will follow.”
Unsurprisingly, Kylie’s bold claim has sparked quite the reaction on Twitter:

Kylie, you’re 18. People have been wearing wigs longer than you’ve been alive. Take some time away from Kanye.

But it seems we won’t have to re-write the history books any time soon, as Kylie has since claimed her words were changed around “for hype.”
