Insta Creep: James Charles Had To Apologise For Making A Fellow YouTuber Cry Over Hair Vitamins…
What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.
In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.
YouTube sensation James Charles has had to apologise to his friend and fellow YouTuber Tati Westbrook over hair vitamins. Yeah.
Tati (AKA GlamLifeGuru) and James go way back, and Tati recently enlisted him to promote her new brand of supplements, Halo Beauty.
However, over the weekend James did an Instagram Story promoting rival brand Sugar Bear Hair – you know, the ones the Kardashians always post about – leading Tati to tearfully tell her followers:
Through this whole YouTube journey I feel like I’m someone who has been super supportive to their friends and it’s been really crap to feel like – not that you should do things to get support – but friends should support one another, that’s how it should be.
“I feel really used and that’s the bad part of Hollywood,” she said. “Welcome to show business, everybody says what they need to say, and uses who they need to use to get ahead, and I have had about enough. It’s not right.”
While James didn’t remove the cursed Sugar Bear Hair ad, he did publicly apologise to Tati, saying he did the post as a thank you to the Sugar Bear crew for helping him when he felt unsafe at Coachella:
“Tati has a vitamin brand which I take on a daily basis, but in the moment, I did not think about the competition, which was a major oversight,” he said.
I’ve supported Tati both online and off as she has done for me and am devastated that I hurt someone that I truly love and have endless respect for.
The sheer theatrics of this. *clutches chest*
In more influencer news, this one faked her entire Coachella trip as a ~*social experiment*~.
YouTuber Gabbie Hanna revealed to her 6.5 million subscribers yesterday that all the pictures she posted from the festival were photoshopped, in order to prove how easy it is to lie on social media.
So with wigs, a photographer, and a friend’s fancy house, she constructed her own ‘Coachella’. She posted a 23 minute-long video about how she pulled it off, which you can watch if you would like to:

“Don’t base your life off of the few posts a week from your favourite influencer living this glamorous, amazing, colourful, saturated, hip, trendy, amazing life,” she said in conclusion. “Because the whole time I was living my best life at Coachella, I was really, uh, for the most part, sitting in this editing chair.”
God, we’re exhausted. Can they all stop the jigacting for just one day? Thanks.
The first photos of the Spice Girls all together and rehearsing for tour are here and now we are crying.
We’ve seen pics of the dancers, and two or three of the girls at a time, but all four are now in the building (and shelving any potential drama):
First thing: NEED Mel C’s top. Second thing: Delighted to see Emma is wearing her signature platforms, even to a dance rehearsal.
Hurry up May 24, please.

Megan Fox has posted a throwback to her Transformers days.
You probably remember the scene from the 2007 film in which Megan sexily fixes a car? Well, it turns out her co-star Shia LaBeouf wanted in on the action too.

We appreciate the rolled-up shirt. But it’s important to acknowledge the ickiness of the original scene, given that part of Megan’s audition for Transformers involved the director Michael Bay filming her while she washed his car.
After she called Bay a ‘tyrant’ in an interview, he had the crew of the sequel publish an open letter labelling her a “porn star” and “unfriendly bitch”. So it’s nice that she has any good memories of those films at all, TBH.
