The past Love Island winner admitted to suffering a pretty bad injury right before going on to Love Island on his Insta stories.
During a Q and A on Instagram one follower asked Greg if he’d ever broken his nose, but reassured him he didn’t look like he had they were just curious.
Greg responded saying, “You’re so kind saying it doesn’t look like it. Funny story my own teammate broke my nose and skull weeks before going on Love Island. People told me not to get it fixed but I want to because I’m quite conscious of it and one of my nostrils is blocked”.
Ouch! We definitely didn’t notice it on the show!
Another fan asked if he’s been watching the recent series, He said, “I’m trying to get into it but it has been a slow start. We gotta give it time though to understand their personalities and let the story develop.
“Also, the villa needs some Irish in my opinion. Remember how much Maura brought to the show when she went in.”
We agree Greg, bring on an Irish bombshell!
Since the show, Greg returned to his first love, rugby. Greg shared that he decided to return to his roots in rugby after realising the life of brand deals and appearances after Love Island was not for him, especially after receiving hate post-breakup with Amber Gill.

“I was like, do you know what maybe I’m not cut out for this crazy lifestyle, so I tucked myself away back in Ireland and I kept training with the team full time.
“I went back to the life I had before Love Island so that’s what really helped me to stay mentally strong. But it is really tough, the hate messages are a hard pill to swallow but I think I’ve dealt with it well,” he told the Mail Online.
He has recently qualified for the Olympics in Tokyo with the Irish Rugby 7’s team.
In a video on the Irish Rugby Instagram page, a delighted Greg says he is “honestly speechless” after qualifying.
“This is the thing of dreams,” he continued.
We are delighted Greg is able to live out his dreams and will definitely be watching to support!
