Tributes Have Been Pouring In For Love Island Star Mike Thalassitis Following His Untimely Death

The news of the sudden death of Love Island star Mike Thalassitis has come as a shock to just about everyone.

Mike, who was given the nickname ‘Muggy Mike’ while on the 2017 season of the popular show, was a character to say the least, and very well loved by fans, co-stars and more.

The 26-year-old was found dead near his home in Essex this weekend, and tributes have been pouring in for him since the news broke.

I genuinely can’t believe what I’m seeing here. My boy from the villa and one of my best mates from the show coming out. As well as fellow LI contestants, other UK stars have been speaking out about Mike’s tragic death – with some calling on people to get the help they need.

Actress Sheridan Smith shared a heartfelt message, urging people to use this as a ‘wake up call’ to look after themselves.

“This should be a massive wake up call. I feel sick, reach out, sometimes to the most confident friend. We can only learn & try to change.”
